The Festival Castillo de Aínsa, one of the longest-running music festivals in Aragón, will celebrate its 33rd edition this summer in style. La Ronda de Boltaña head the bill presenting their new album, “La estación de las violetas”, accompanied by the highly acclaimed Rozalén, Carmen París and María José Hernández, who have collaborated with the locals in the recording of their latest album.
Javier Mas, from Zaragoza, who for many years accompanied María del Mar Bonet, Manolo García, Kiko Veneno, Raimundo Amador and Jackson Browne, became known to the general public after becoming the right-hand man of the Canadian singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen in 2008. He will precede Yamandu Costa, the famous Brazilian musician and leading exponent of the current Ibero-American guitar, who will give his concert on the night of Friday 7 July.
Santiago Auserón will come to the town of Aínsa on 14th July as the ‘Juan Perro Sexteto’.
“Since Radio Futura, he has not stopped growing, creating, researching roots and making albums as brilliant as they are irresistible, and he is coming to Sobrarbe with his whole band to offer a memorable show.
On the 15th of July, the strength and intensity of Viki and the Wild from Aragon will precede the Valencian rock band Santero y Los Muchachos, who are enjoying a great moment of growth with songs full of freshness, softness, edge and a lot of self-confidence.
These six names are the seed that will shape the 2023 programme.
